Baylor College of Dentistry Dallas, TX.

What year did you graduate?

1972.

What's the most unique characteristic about your dental practice?

I have full fee practice, I'm not contracted with any plans, 1/3rd of my patients I've seen 20+ years.

What is your most noticeable characteristic?

I love interacting with my patients on a personal level. I'm very easy going.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

By having all aspects of my life in harmony with my belief system.

What is your favorite pastime?

Anything outdoors, sailing, fishing, and walking.

Which words or phrase do you most overuse?

"Oh brother!"

What is your all time favorite movie?

The Ten Commandments, my first date and first movie that I remember, or A Star is Born-latest one.

What is your favorite memory of childhood?

Being able to ride my bike as far from home as I wanted to and was able to.

Graduating from dental school.

An honest man of integrity

Kindness and the desire to help others.

Dishonesty

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I'd like to be more assertive

Time with my wife Connie.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Neatness.

Who is the person you most admire?

My brother or my wife Connie.

What did you learn from your father?

To live a life of integrity based on biblical values.

What's the most important thing you learned from your mother?

To be happy and content in all circumstances.

What quality in others earns your trust?

Honesty.

What is it that people don't know about you?

My mother and sister were professional artist, and I am fortunate to have some artistic abilities as well.

What is your motto?

Always have a positive attitude and find the humor in life.

What is the most important thing you've learned about yourself since working with Straine?

To dream bigger than I ever thought possible.

What book are you currently reading?

The Bible, Same Kind Of Difference As Me by Ron Hall, Jantsen's Gift by Pam Cope. Pam Cope’s son died suddenly of a heart defect at age 15. Over the course of her grieving Pam discovered children being sold as slaves in Ghana. Pam used the memorial funds for her son to start an orphanage and rescued these children. Her charity is Touch A Life Foundation and my office donates money from our Smiles for Life campaign.
